International Kids Film Festival 2017
IKFF was conceived in 2017 and the first edition was held between 14th and 21st November 2017. The first of it’s kind, IKFF partnered with 500 schools across India to host this unique festival on their school premises.

International Kids Film Festival 2018
2018 was a year of firsts for IKFF. The festival went international for the first time was hosted by 3000 schools across 20 different countries. IKFF also partnered with the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy and conducted our first international Child Jury exchange. The festival partnered with the Education Ministry of the government of Karnataka to bring IKFF to government school students for the first time. The festival featured 100 films from across the world.

International Kids Film Festival 2019
The International Kids Film Festival 2019 brought the magic of cinema to students in 9000 schools across 40 countries between 1st November and 31st December 2019. Among the schools that hosted IKFF, were government schools in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka and Telangana as part of a partnership between IKFF and the Education Ministries of these states. IKFF 2019 featured 100 films from 30 different countries.

International Kids Film Festival 2020
International Kids Film Festival went digital in 2020. A month-long festival from 20th November to 20th December 2020, IKFF featured 150 films from across over 40 countries in over 25 languages, and was streamed exclusively on the KRAYON digital platform in India. Along with film screenings, IKFF also digital events in the form of panel discussions, workshops and masterclasses on world issues and film as part of KRAYON’s learning platform, KRAYON Studio. IKFF is also home to Make Cinema, the world’s largest student filmmaking competition.
